Anne's Introduction

Hey everyone,

My name is Anne Woodard, I am a Raleigh native currently attending North Carolina State University. I am a part of the Life Science First Year program, with the intent of pursuing a degree in Nutrition. Or rather, this is what I thought my plans would be.

I chose to come to state because I have wolfpacker in my blood, but I feel nursing is the career for me, so this might mean it’s time for change. I have submitted applications to two other schools, Clemson and UNCC, in hopes of transferring into one of their nursing programs. My dream is to one day be a pediatric nurse in the children’s ward of a hospital. I love science, helping people, and kiddos, so why not combine all three of those things into a lifelong career?

Aside from my studies, I love to live a busy but balanced life. You may often finding me training in the gym, hanging with friends, or visiting my sweet family. I am always down for a quiet afternoon spent with a good book, my beat-up journal, and my own thoughts.

I am excited to have a blog space this semester, and a chance to work on my writing skills. My goal is to post content that is meaningful and knowledgable while approaching topics from a new perspective. I hope you enjoy reading what is to come.
